Material needed:

  • Any stamp you want to use on the necklace
  • Pin/needle for making hole in stamp
  • Tweezers
  • Clear nail polish
  • A sponge (optional)
  • Hair dryer (optional)
  • Ring to thread through hole in stamp
  • Pliers
  • Necklace, chain (or any preferred style with a clasp)

Instructions:

Use a needle/pin to carefully punch a hole through stamp, leaving the needle sticking out through both sides. Use tweezers to hold stamp and paint both sides of stamp with clear nail polish. Stick one end of protruding needle in to a sponge (so stamp is not touching anything while it drys) and use a hair dryer to speed up drying processes. Once dry, paint at least once more with the clear polish and repeat drying process. Pull out the needle (being careful not to rip stamp). Thread ring through the hole and use pliers to secure. Now just thread the stamp on to necklace and you’re all done!

Note:

Make sure you coat the stamp generously all over with nail polish so it’s sturdy and wont rip. Make sure your ring will fit on the the necklace once the stamp is connected! This is a little DIY project I thought of doing, It would be an awesome DIY gift to give to someone who collects stamps, I made this for my mum as a Christmas Present.
