A tin can, clean and free of labels
Very simple really – get your paper/ribbon and cut it down to size to fit around your can. If you are using ribbon, like my can on the right in the photo above: Glue one end of the ribbon to the top edge of your can and slowly add more glue to the ribbon as you wrap it around the can tightly, glue the other end of the ribbon down to the bottom edge of can. If you are using paper, like my can on the left in the photo above: glue one edge of your paper to the can and slowly add more glue to the paper as you wrap it tightly around the can, glue the other edge of paper down securely.

A great way to organise all your pens, pencils, and stationary! I left a silver rim of can showing at the top of my cans because I prefer that look, you can easily glue your ribbon/paper flush with the edge If you don’t want any silver showing. You can get creative and add whatever you want to the can – glitter, newspaper, text, buttons, beads, string etc.
